{"id":"CVE-2026-69134","published":"2026-11-05T19:17:24.533","lastModified":"2026-11-05T19:17:24.707","description":"SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, the REST v4 JSON handler reads the pre-filter RAW_REQUEST value and relationship write helpers interpolate supplied field values into INSERT and UPDATE statements. The affected flow begins at $GLOBALS['RAW_REQUEST'] and uses set_relationship, SugarRelationship::addRow(), SugarRelationship::updateRow(), and contact_role to carry attacker-controlled data or authorization state into the security-sensitive operation. An authenticated user can inject SQL through relationship fields to read or alter database data and may reach file-write consequences when the database account has elevated privileges. This issue is fixed in versions 7.15.2 and 8.10.2.","cvssScore":8.8,"cvssSeverity":"HIGH","cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","cwes":["CWE-89"],"vendors":[],"products":[],"references":[{"url":"https://github.com/SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM-Core/commit/a11f50180d939f639cc468b5d536e8ad714dfb68","tags":[]},{"url":"https://github.com/SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM-Core/releases/tag/v8.10.2","tags":[]},{"url":"https://github.com/SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM/commit/d6bca97a0159ec019a969b86eca32affab3beb7c","tags":[]},{"url":"https://github.com/SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM/releases/tag/v7.15.2","tags":[]},{"url":"https://github.com/SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM/security/advisories/GHSA-3phg-q9w9-4pqw","tags":[]}],"exploitRefs":[{"url":"https://github.com/SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM-Core/commit/a11f50180d939f639cc468b5d536e8ad714dfb68","tags":[]},{"url":"https://github.com/SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM-Core/releases/tag/v8.10.2","tags":[]},{"url":"https://github.com/SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM/commit/d6bca97a0159ec019a969b86eca32affab3beb7c","tags":[]},{"url":"https://github.com/SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM/releases/tag/v7.15.2","tags":[]},{"url":"https://github.com/SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM/security/advisories/GHSA-3phg-q9w9-4pqw","tags":[]}],"hasPoc":true,"ai":{"summary":"SuiteCRM's REST v4 JSON handler allows authenticated users to inject SQL via relationship fields (CWE-89) because user-controlled data from $GLOBALS['RAW_REQUEST'] is interpolated into SQL queries without sanitization, enabling unauthorized database access or modification.","exploitability":"Requires valid authentication and knowledge of the vulnerable relationship endpoints, but exploitation is straightforward once authenticated due to lack of input validation.","blast_radius":"An attacker could read or modify sensitive CRM data, potentially escalating to file writes if the database account has elevated privileges, compromising confidentiality, integrity, and availability.","remediation":"Upgrade to SuiteCRM version 7.15.2 or 8.10.2, where the vulnerability is fixed.","detection":"Log entries showing SQL errors or unusual query patterns in REST v4 endpoints, especially those involving relationship field updates with syntactically invalid or suspicious input; monitor for anomalous database queries containing unescaped single quotes or UNION-based syntax from authenticated users.","tags":["sql-injection","web","crm","authenticated","cwe-89"],"model":"garnet-coder","analyzedAt":"2026-11-06T09:55:03.821Z"}}
