Attackers can pass id[1] with crafted SQL, such as time-based SLEEP payloads, along with an api_key derived from md5(home_url()), which flows unsanitized into Database::get_where_query to extract database contents. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-18.","cvssScore":8.2,"cvssSeverity":"HIGH","cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:N","cwes":["CWE-89"],"vendors":[],"products":[],"references":[{"url":"https://github.com/projectdiscovery/nuclei-templates/blob/main/http/vulnerabilities/wordpress/notificationx-sqli.yaml","tags":[]},{"url":"https://wordpress.org/plugins/notificationx/","tags":[]},{"url":"https://wpscan.com/vulnerability/d1480717-726d-4be2-95cb-1007a3f010bb","tags":[]},{"url":"https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/notificationx-wordpress-plugin-2.3.12-unauthenticated-sql-injection-via-notification-rest-endpoint","tags":[]}],"exploitRefs":[{"url":"https://github.com/projectdiscovery/nuclei-templates/blob/main/http/vulnerabilities/wordpress/notificationx-sqli.yaml","tags":[]}],"hasPoc":true,"ai":null}
